Extended warranties provide CPAP machine owners with extra reassurance that should something go wrong with their CPAP device they will be covered. Australian manufacturer standards state all electrical goods come with 2 years warranty. By purchasing an Extended Warranty, if you do experience any need to have warranty service and/or repairs undertaken within the extended 5 years period you will be covered, as per each manufacturers Terms and Conditions. These T&C’s can be found on each manufactures website.
Subject to exclusions set out in each manufacturers Terms and Conditions, the Extended Warranty provides a guaranteed minimum resolution where your Auto or CPAP device breaks down or otherwise becomes inoperable, irrespective of whether this is caused by acceptable wear and tear or some other reason covered by the Extended Warranty. Where Extended Warranty applies, manufacturers will, at their option and expense, repair or replace the product or the defective material or part. If the manufacturer repairs or replaces the product, the warranty period for the repaired or replaced product does not extend beyond the original period of the Extended Warranty.
